1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN
for a Labor & Delivery position at a large hospital, requiring at
least 2 years of travel experience with high-risk pregnancies and
an active NJ RN license. Details - Labor & Delivery (L&D) unit
in a large hospital setting - High-risk pregnancy patient
population - Night shift schedule: 7p – 7a - 36 hours per week
across 3 x 12-hour shifts - 13-week contract - Epic EMR used for
charting - Floating to a nearby sister hospital may be required
Requirements - Active NJ RN license (or compact license) required -
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required - Minimum 2 years of
travel nursing experience in a large hospital L&D setting
required - Experience with high-risk pregnancies required -
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Associate's or
Bachelor's Degree preferred - Two professional references required
for consideration - Must reside more than 50 miles from the
facility to be eligible for this position Additional Information -
Responsibilities include performing comprehensive patient
assessments, delivering individualized nursing care, and
maintaining thorough documentation throughout the continuum of care
- Expected to uphold patient safety standards including National
Patient Safety Goals and Universal Protocol - Patient and family
education is a key component of this role - Epic charting
experience is expected given facility EMR use - Travelers may be
assigned to float to a nearby sister hospital facility American
