market under our own MTPA label. We're currently building a new
commercial organization and expanding our other functions to
support this strategy.
The Associate Director, HR is responsible for providing HR Business
Partner support to his or her respective internal client base while
acting as primary support. The Associate Director, HR will partner
with Head of HR and HR team to align HR strategies that will drive
all people activities, business initiatives/programs and manage the
following areas for his/her client group: recruitment, performance
and talent management, compensation and analysis, and training.
This position will work closely with the Executive Director of HR
in developing, implementing and evaluating ongoing HR policies,
programs, functions and activities.
Consults with business on a broad range of organizational issues of
Provides day-to-day coaching to leadership on a variety of actions
to include employee relations issues, policy interpretation and
application; talent management and development; and organizational
Provides guidance, consultation and interpretation to management as
it relates to employee benefits, employee relations, organizational
development, legal issues and policies and practices.
Leads staffing efforts in partnership with Talent Acquisition
ensuring department staffing goals are achieved.
Addresses and resolves employee relations issues in addition to
conducting formal internal investigations as necessary.
Performs compensation analysis and makes compensation
recommendations related to offers, promotions, and adjustments.
Develops outcomes-based training curriculum and program
announcements for all training activities. Tracks and evaluates
each training workshop's effectiveness and outcomes.
Oversees the annual goal setting and performance review process and
makes recommendations as necessary ensuring the use of SMART
Develops a communication strategy for all HR programs and
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field-- Master's
Minimum of 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience
Preferred: Experience in a startup organization; prior
Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent business writing and verbal communication skills.
In-depth knowledge of HR processes, programs, policies and
Strong analytical skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate
effectively, up to executive levels, with other individuals and
groups in a matrix organization.
Proven leadership capabilities.
Advanced MS Office skills.
Willingness to travel up to 5%
