Application Risk Manager - Delivery Lead Technology

Job Description:The successful candidate will lead a focused team with the objective of ensuring that new and recurring information security requirements are addressed for a portfolio of Front-office FICC trading applications. - The Application Risk Manager will manage stakeholder expectations and team work assignments while partnering across Technology, -infrastructure and Risk /Compliance organization to drive successful completion of the targeted deliverables in a timely manner. - The Application Manager will be expected to develop a detailed understanding of the technical landscape for cross-cutting information security concerns to be able to make attestations and value judgment in response to information security requirements, escalating as appropriate. - Example deliverables will include Identity Access Management (IAM), Not Permitted Technology (NPT) and Security vulnerability update, Revocations Review, Business Continuity Planning ( BCP), Application Resiliency Program (ARP), SOX, etc. Responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivery of defined deliverables which usually requires engagement from multiple teams such as a project or smaller program. Communicates the work objectives, coordinates delivery, manages risks, ensures compliance to standards, and provides end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables. Ensures execution and delivery meets the client's expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline and cost. Coordinates and facilitates routines to support delivery - e.g. kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, etc. Plans and coordinates delivery and dependencies with across multiple teams. Facilitates dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the defined deliverables. Promotes/facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline. Gathers/facilitates status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks/issues, and schedule. Ensures that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with the sponsor/stakeholders. Ensures deliverables comply with Enterprise Change Management standards. Supports resource planning for delivery/execution. Individual Contributor. Required Skillset

  • Role is consistent with 10 years' experience in a technology-centric and regulated environment
  • Strong project management and organizational skills. - -Note: this is not primarily an application development role
  • Experience with Information security / risk management in a banking environment Desirable Skillset
    • Ideal candidate is likely to have a background comprising risk management, technical project management and in a Global Markets Front office environment
    • Demonstrable experience dealing with competing stakeholder priorities
    • Strong interpersonal skills with ability for form working relationships with the team and various organizations within the Bank
    • Experience dealing with offshore team is a plus Bank of America's Global Banking and Markets Technology Organization....
