Finance team. The Data & Analytic Solutions team leads initiatives
across the Planning & Analysis function with a focus on enabling
self-service capabilities for data consumption and analytics by
developing and implementing custom applications using React,
Python, SQL, and cloud technologies. Supporting Planning & Analysis
holistically, this team interfaces with multiple line of business
teams to source ideas around enhanced automation and integration
opportunities, translate ideas into use cases, and partner with
business stakeholders to deliver tangible solutions in an agile
operating model. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, implement,
and maintain new solutions to promote the goals of the team to
increase productivity across the finance organization Have strong
analytical and problem solving skills and be able to apply them to
a given situation Research new technologies and libraries to review
possible benefits to the team Be highly self-motivated to advance
current projects with minimal oversight Able to collaborate with
both business and technical colleagues to build a solution that
fits the client's needs in the most efficient manner Translate
business needs into technical requirements Manage projects by
tracking and monitoring progress, risks, and issues; be able to
report on status and recommend corrective actions to ensure
successful project completion Partner with peers on the CoE team to
provide planning and implementation support. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, with a focus on BIS, MIS, computer science, or
another applicable field. 3-5 years experience in front-end web
development: Expert with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular 6/8
or React (Mandatory) Styling and use of CSS dialects (CSS, LESS,
SCSS, SASS) Strong with HTTPS/REST+JSON web service APIs
(Mandatory) Experience or hands-on knowledge on developing
applications for cloud and clear concepts on cloud design patterns
Experience in test driven development using modern source control
and continuous integration Demonstrate an eagerness to learn and
tackle difficult challenges Excellent multi-tasking,
prioritization, and presentation skills Knowledge of agile
methodologies and SDLC. Delivery oriented, conscientious, and
reliable; strong written and verbal communication Beneficial Skills
Understanding of data visualization libraries (i.e. D3 or Chart.js)
to dynamically show data in real time environments Building APIs to
send and receive data from a front-end application using frameworks
