Job Description:
Our Challenge
As a UI/Angular Developer, you will use your experience in building
response Web user interfaces and knowledge of the application
development lifecycle to identify system enhancements and create
design specifications using a variety of programming languages. You
will also support organizational technology groups on programming
solution recommendations. You should have experience with REST
APIs, Angular 7+, and Object-Oriented JavaScript; while not
required, experience building cross-platform desktop applications
will be beneficial.
Responsibilities
Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and
concepts, and basic knowledge of other technical areas, to identify
and define necessary system enhancements, including using script
tools and analyzing/interpreting code
Consult with users and other technology groups on issues, and
recommend programming solutions, install and support customer
exposure systems
Apply fundamental knowledge of programming languages for design
specifications
Identify problems, analyze information, and make evaluative
judgements to recommend and implement solutions
Operate with a limited level of direct supervision when
required
Requirements
You are:
Equipped with 5+ years of experience in building responsive Web
user interfaces
Experienced in Object-Oriented JavaScript
Experienced in building complex, single-page applications using
HTML 5, Angular 7/8/9/10 or other modern JavaScript
technologies
Familiar with multi-threading and synchronization on multicore
systems
Interested in design, user experience, or data visualization
Experienced with Visual Studio Code
Experienced in working with REST APIs
Understanding of Agile development
Experienced in Unit Testing and test cases
A graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information
Technology (or a related field)
It would be great if you also had:
Knowledge of the Market Risk/Capital Markets/Banking industries
Experience in developing large financial software trading
systems
Knowledge of Interest Rates or Futures Financial Products (e.g.
Treasuries/Swaps)
Experience with building cross-platform desktop applications using
Web technologies such as Electron, Chromium, Node.js, etc.
Knowledge of DevOps tooling: Jira, Bitbucket, Artifactory, Jenkins,
Sonar
