We are actively seeking qualified candidates for the following position for our client, who is an industry leader:

Financial Analyst - Technology Projects

Location - Remote (EST/CST)

Type - Long term contract

Job Summary:

You will be a member of the Technology Projects team and provide support to Senior Project Managers in tracking and managing project budgets, perform day to day financial analysis, calculate variance, generate financial reports for the management and be responsible for all financial aspects of the Technology projects that you are associated with. You will be the key partner to our Project Managers.

Experience working on SAP for financial data input, extraction and reporting is a plus
Manage 12-15 project financials
Generate financial reports for improved turnaround and decision making
Performs project financial planning, reporting, variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting
Work with Senior Project Managers in developing ROI
Process project related invoices
Track spent against budgets and pro-actively highlight potential variances based on current trends
Establish and maintain relationships with Senior Project Managers and other stakeholders
Understand project dependencies that can have a potential impact on the budget
Ability to communicate with Project team independently and with confidence
Strong analytical and accounting skills; must understand key business drivers, ability to communicate financial implications / business impact and provide recommendations

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance
Excellent with numbers and attentive to detail
Strong finance analysis and reporting experience
Good working knowledge on Excel
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Good follow-through capabilities
Ability to work in a team environment
Remote working/work at home options are available for this role.
