Job Description:
What will you be doing? Barclays Services LLC seeks Application
Developer Technical Lead (AVP) in Whippany, NJ (multiple positions
available): 1. Developing complex software applications with
SpringBoot, J2EE, PL/SQ, IBM MQ technologies. 2. Responsible for
agile software development in Java and other languages, designing,
developing, and testing applications through continuous
integration, deployment and delivery. 3. Delivering
production-grade code to high quality solutions within a DevOps
environment, focusing on automation of tests and deployment. 4.
Analyzing user needs and business requirements to identify and
apply appropriate design patterns and frameworks according to
business benefit, maintainability, and delivery priorities and
constraints. 5. Developing and refactoring programs in accordance
with the design, following relevant code management procedures and
applying agreed coding standards. 6. Completing the assignments
within the budget, time, and quality requirements and performing
operational support tasks and assisting other technical projects in
accordance to agreed service standards. 7. Leading team and
providing technical solutions and support. 8. Mentoring junior
members within the team with new technologies and patterns used. 9.
Managing up to five (5) direct reports, overseeing their work to
ensure business deliverables are met timely and accurately. 10. May
Telecommute. Minimum Salary: $189K per year Maximum Salary: $240K
per year The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above
includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include
any another type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

incentive award. Purpose of the role To design, develop and improve
software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that
provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our
customers and colleagues. Accountabilities Development and delivery
of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned
programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is
scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers,
and other engineers to define software requirements, devise
solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment
with business objectives. Collaboration with peers, participate in
code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge
sharing. Stay informed of industry technology trends and
innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s
technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence
and growth. Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate
vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software
solutions. Implementation of effective unit testing practices to
ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability. Assistant

functions/ business divisions. Lead a team performing complex

analysis of data from multiple sources of information, internal and
external sources such as procedures and practises (in other areas,
teams, companies, etc).to solve problems creatively and
effectively. Communicate complex information. Complex information
could include sensitive information or information that is
difficult to communicate because of its content or its audience.
