Job Description:
What will you be doing? Barclays Services Corp. seeks AVP,
Technical Product Owner in Whippany, NJ (multiple positions
available): Manage and maintain product backlog for the rewards
earn platform services that integrate current and future technology
platforms and existing back-end applications. Drive product
development and implementation using Agile methodologies to refine
product backlog items and define acceptance criteria. Analyze
business, and other data processing problems to develop and
implement solutions to complex applications problems, system
administration issues, or network concerns. Analyze customer
preferences and confer with Product Head, key stakeholders and
Project Managers to support strategy and objectives of business and
help facilitate project engagement and deployment. Implement
strategic architecture solutions. Maintain product backlog, refine
stories, and ensure backlog items are ready for development. Define
acceptance criteria and ensure developed features meet defined
standards. Confer with delivery teams to solve problems and
facilitate impediment resolution in a timely, cost-effective manner
to drive continuous improvement and ultimately, customer
satisfaction. Plan, coordinate, and facilitate key requirements
workshops with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and technical
teams, and ensure alignment with user experience best practices.
Review, analyze and document current state of existing systems and
processes and elicit future state expectations from users and
stakeholders, to produce high-quality project documents and
artifacts that adhere to industry best practices and standards.
Owning and coordinating demand capacity exercise as a part of the
overall project planning liaising with leads of different areas
required for quarterly project prioritization, planning and
budgeting. Minimum Salary: $161,200 per year Maximum Salary:
$171,800 per year The minimum and maximum salary/rate information
above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not
include any another type of compensation or benefits that may be

an incentive award. Purpose of the role To collaborate with product
owners and other technical teams involved in the product
development process and utilise their knowledge of the bank’s
technologies to enact the vision defined in the product roadmap.
Accountabilities Provision of subject matter expertise to support
the collaboration between the product owner and the technical side
of product development. Support the development and implementation
of the product strategy and vision defined in the product roadmap
and communicate them with the relevant stakeholders and the
development team. Collaboration with internal stakeholders to
gather and prioritise product requirements and features based on
business value and feasibility that are well defined, measurable
and secure. Development and implementation of assessments to ensure
continuous testing and improvement of product quality and
performance. Monitoring of product performance to identify
opportunities for optimisation that meets the banks performance
standards. Stay abreast of the latest industry technology trends
and technologies, to evaluate and adopt new approaches to improve
product development and delivery. Assistant Vice President

of information, internal and external sources such as procedures
and practises (in other areas, teams, companies, etc).to solve
problems creatively and effectively. Communicate complex
information. Complex information could include sensitive
information or information that is difficult to communicate because
of its content or its audience. Influence or convince stakeholders
