Director Distributed Ledger Technology R&D Thusa is looking
for a Distributed Ledger Technology R&D to join our talented
team. The Technology Research and Innovation (TRI) division
provides leadership and resources dedicated to advancing the
business opportunities and industry thought leadership leveraging
new technology capabilities. TRI Labs (TRIL) group within TRI will
closely partner with the Business Innovation (BI) team providing
technology support to the BI Team's roadmap and advancing the
company's capabilities in new and emerging technologies, including
DLT, AI/ML etc. Key focus areas for TRI Lab include continuously
exploring the technology landscape for opportunities and
disruptions, assessing new/incoming use cases, developing
prototypes and pilots, assessing technology partners and vendors
(tech due diligence & evaluations), developing business cases,
participating in industry associations and standard setting bodies,
and driving internal education through events, strategy sessions,
showcases, blogs etc. One of the essential missions of TRI Labs is
to function as the execution and delivery arm of the TRI division
translating the broad spectrum of research and innovation led by
TRI into tangible, working pilots and prototypes. TRIL will strive
to create a nimble, start-up-like development and research
ecosystem based on streamlined processes and fail-fast philosophy
to enable rapid development and delivery.
Lead the execution and delivery of innovative technology
projects, including research and process innovation for Technology
Research & Innovation Lab.
Lead end-to-end software development projects having strong
understanding of SDLC full lifecycle and delivery of software
pilots as well as prototypes under strict timeline and budget.
With full accountability for on-time within-budget delivery, you
are expected to wear three hats: Technologist: recommend and
provide inputs on the choice of appropriate technology stacks. More
emphasis would be on being a strong technologist.
Business analyst: support Business/Product group in
requirements analysis, drafting of functional/non-functional
specifications, workflows etc.
Project manager: function as a PM/Scrum Master to create
Conduct fast-paced vendor assessments and vendor management
including vendor onboarding, assessments of RFPs, SOWs and other
paper work, technology due diligence, tech evaluations, assessment
of vendor-offered services, tools and platforms, attend
presentations and demos etc.
You might have to manage one or two internal teams to deliver on
multiple projects, be a strong individual-contributor, act as a SME
and independently conduct exercises related to research,
intelligence gathering, market studies, analysis and process
Mitigate risk by following established procedures, spotting key
errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.
Minimum of 10 years of software development, SDLC, software
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
Experience in and in-depth knowledge of Distributed Ledger
Technology platforms like Ethereum, Hyperledger
Development experience in Cloud Technologies ( AWS
preferably) is required
Knowledge of Financial Services industry (desirable not
