Senior Project Manager
This Senior Project Manager will be a member of the Project
Management Office for the Technology Enterprise Applications team.
This person will be expected to manage 3-5 projects of various
types with the main focus being Enterprise Applications and Desktop
Support & Rollouts. They will be responsible for coordination and
completion of assigned project's scope on time, within budget, and
meeting the highest of quality standards. All projects will be
executed within established governance processes in a mixed Agile
and Waterfall environment. This role will surface and remove
impediments on a daily basis along with providing timely status
reporting for Business Leaders and the PMO.
The Senior Project Manager will manage matrix project teams and
embrace a Servant Leader mentality. They will encourage a safe,
respectful, and constructive environment of continuous improvement
and innovation. The Senior PM will also play the role of a Business
Analyst and Pseudo Product Owner for certain projects.
This position may be fully remote during and after the COVID-19
crisis. Some travel may be required in or to the New York and New
Jersey area post-COVID-19.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
5-7+ years IT industry experience with experience as a developer
and at least 3 years as a Project Manager and 2 years executing
Familiarity with Project Management and Agile principles
PMP and SCRUM Master certification a plus
Experience with website and CMS implementations required
Experience with Vendor Management, RFP processes, and Statements
Experience with Risk Management and PMO Reporting
Ability to complete projects on time, budget, and within
Ability to elicit and document Business Requirements
Familiarity with business analysis tools and frameworks
MS Project, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
Ability to influence without authority
Process-orientation with significant attention to detail
Buttoned up when interacting with Business Leaders
Comfortable in a faced paced, unstructured environment
Amiable personality with good relationship building skills
