• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field required;
• 8+ years' experience in IT preferable in financial institutions;
• 5+ years of Cisco network engineering experience;
• 5+ years of firewall administration and implementation experience;
• 3+ years of experience with AWS, Azure or other public cloud service
• Knowledge of enterprise network security technologies including but not limited to: HTTP and web security technologies, proxies, caches, firewalls, SSL/TLS, GRE and IPsec tunneling, DNS, load balancing, SD-WAN, VPN's, DLP, anti-virus, spam and spyware solutions (Gateway and SaaS)
• Practical experience working with routing and switching products, including troubleshooting;
• Knowledge of SaaS based technologies and their implications for the enterprise.
• Knowledge in relational databases (SQL);
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) preferred;
• Microsoft Certified IT Professional preferred;
• Able to quickly assimilate into a complex environment and rapidly learn the existing and inbound new technologies;
• Project management & Application support experience;
• Highly developed understanding of structure analysis, technical design, and database and file access methods;
• Deep experience leading internal IT projects that require interaction with external vendors;
