The Marketing and Digital Experience team is looking for an innovative, driven senior executive to join the leadership team. This leadership position will operate as Chief Operating Officer to the Managing Director of E*TRADE Marketing and Digital Experience, working closely with division's leadership team to deliver oversight for planning, analytics, strategic, budget, and administrative activities. This individual will be responsible for developing executive-level analytics, content, and presentations; cross-team strategy and plan roll ups; cross-organization projects (HBCU Curriculum, Partnership with Multicultural Labs, etc.). The position will have direct and/or dotted line reports managing strategy, reporting, project management, and other cross team/cross functional initiatives.

Because of the broad nature of the COO role, it will require a candidate who possesses a strong intellect, and has a proven track record of supporting and working with a senior management team, as well as with multiple functions within an organization. Critical to the new COO's success will be their ability to "hit the ground running," focusing on critical priorities, earning the confidence and trust of the Marketing and Digital Experience leadership team, and generally helping the Department build upon its success. The individual must be discreet, able to operate independently with minimal oversight, find creative solutions to resolve issues and identify process enhancements, execute tasks and projects on a timely basis, and communicate effectively and responsively with all colleagues.

The COO will report directly to the M.D. - Marketing & Digital Experience of E*TRADE, who is based in Jersey City, NJ.

About the role:

* Provide executive support and material development for senior-level presentations, town halls, OpCo, etc., including content on key program deliverables, financials, strategy, analytics, and risk and control objectives * Drive strategy and analysis at the overall team level bringing together the full organization strategy across Marketing and Digital experience at the direction of the leadership team. * Coordinate with Business stakeholders and leaders to validate and evolve multi-year strategy and plans against that strategy. * Partner with internal and external subject matter experts to research, develop, and present executive briefings to leadership teams, develop ongoing communications that share the progress and quantify the impact of team led initiatives and status, to ensure awareness, transparency and collaboration. * Support teams during financial forecasts / budget exercises, planning horizons, and HR milestones (Goals, MY/YE Performance, etc.); provide regular updates to Leadership and prepare for leadership to update more senior levels. * Assisting in the organization of and preparation for (including agendas, PowerPoint presentations, and logistics, as applicable) a variety of meetings (e.g., biweekly meetings with her leadership team, and periodic, departmental all-hands meetings and offsites). * Assisting with departmental budgeting, including developing metrics on Department's budget management performance, and serving as key liaison with Finance and Digital Direct COO staff. * Interfacing with leadership team and communicating pertinent information across the Department & organization. * Assisting in developing on-boarding and training programs for the team to ensure general understanding of group and Company processes by all personnel. * Assisting in identifying the overall needs of the organization, marshaling appropriate resources, and ensuring that priorities are seen through to conclusion.

Required Skills:

* Ability to direct and drive senior stakeholders towards a common goal; high EQ * Experience in all aspects of strategy, planning, execution, and delivery * Confidence and comfort operating in high-paced and high-profile environments * Expertise in senior-level presentation development and delivery (samples required) * Senior understanding of enterprise organizational and behavioural dynamics * Demonstrable track record of handling confidential and sensitive information appropriately * Strong handle on operational metrics, financial / accounting principles and strategy principles * Experience in Financial Services, Management Consulting, and/or Project/Program Management.
