We are currently looking for an AVP to join Morgan Stanley's
Marketing Analytics team under the E*TRADE Data and Analytics
department. An in-depth knowledge of data analytics and a strong
sense of curiosity are essential for developing technical solutions
for performant customer marketing programs. Your work will be
critical in helping build a test & learn discipline throughout the
organization, unearthing key insights into what is working and what
can be improved, and offering specific, actionable recommendations
At its core, success in this role involves translating complex
data into insights that drive business strategy.
Lead development of complex, audience-driven marketing
strategies. Use in-depth understanding of business objectives to
form targeting recommendations and projections.
Build capabilities in marketing analytics and data
visualization, across areas such as media performance, engagement,
and retention measurement efforts.
Present findings to key stakeholders with visualizations, clear
language and logical rationale.
Conduct thorough analysis of customer behavior to identify
future marketing opportunities.
Apply various data modeling techniques in order to identify the
most profitable path to incremental revenue and user growth across
all marketing channels.
Perform advanced analytics tasks, including but not limited

Master's Degree (M.S.) or equivalent in statistics, math,
economics or related scientific/quantitative field plus several
years' experience in applied disciplines
5 years of relevant experience; advanced SQL skills are a
Strong technical skills & proficiency in data analysis with
ability to manipulate large datasets and to distill them into
thoughtful conclusions and actionable recommendations
Excellent communication and relationship skills
Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau), and an
understanding of how they can be used as a compelling communication
Familiarity with analytics methods (e.g., statistics, ML, etc.)
and analytical tools (e.g., SAS, R, Python, etc.)
Experience working in financial services industry a plus
Experience building and running effective customer engagement
plans from initial brainstorm, to implementation, and through
