E*TRADEs Consumer Insights team develops market-based insights
to drive strategy and decision-making across the business.
We are currently seeking a talented Senior Analyst who will be a
core part of the firms Consumer Insights Team. This individual
should have experience in research roles in consumer-focused
companies with experience identifying people's needs, motivations,
and problems through the application of applying research
techniques to inform the development of new features and

ABOUT THE ROLE
This position will have the opportunity to work on a variety of
market research and U/X testing initiatives across the
organization, including branding and advertising, competitive
landscape analysis, customer experience and new product
development. In particular, candidates must have a keen interest in
translating data (both quantitative and qualitative) into
actionable recommendations, serving as the voice of the customer
for internal stakeholders. This person should display solid
communication and presentation skills, attention to detail,
commitment to quality, and demonstrated initiative.
Understanding of quantitative and qualitative research
techniques, and ability to determine optimal research approach to
meet given objectives.
Experience drafting questionnaires/discussion guides for
quantitative and qualitative studies based on business objectives
to be addressed.
Ability to manage survey programming needs, research participant
recruitment, and assist with the day-to-day operations in setting
up and facilitating various research initiatives.
Willingness to moderate focus groups, in-depth interviews, and
usability tests, as well as presenting project findings in a group
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills to translate
data/insights into a comprehensive narrative for internal
Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple simultaneous
assignments real-time, as well as manage to tight time
Proficiency in Qualtrics, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, TRAINING
The candidate has a minimum of 2+ years of work experience with
a B.A/B.S. in Marketing, Computer Science, Human Computer
Interaction, Social Science, Information Science, Experimental
Psychology, or a related field.
