Senior Fund Analyst - Investment Manager - NYC

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities include:

* Oversee the NAV and reporting for alternative private pooled vehicles and public pooled vehicles with a wide range of portfolios

* Manage investor capital activity in the private funds, including overseeing capital commitments, capital calls, income distributions, etc.

* Design, develop and manage the fund administration infrastructure supporting the company's private and public pooled vehicle products

* Review funds' annual financial statements for accuracy and completeness, liaise between the Auditor, Fund Administrator and Senior Management

* Manage financial reporting as needed (including financial modeling, performance reporting, cash flow management, etc.)

* Be the point of contact with the Portfolio Management Team and develop reporting to support them

* Review fund offering documents to design process and ensure proper application of fund terms

* Manage relationship of third-party service providers and vendors to ensure execution of duties to the highest standard (Fund Administrators, Custodians, Auditors, Tax Preparers)

* Liaise with internal Client Service Group and Sales team to facilitate investor requests

* Review or prepare various regulatory filings involving financial information

* Interact with various internal teams such as Finance, Performance Reporting, Investor Relations, Legal and Portfolio Managers to support data delivery and resolve accounting issues.

In return for a competitive remuneration package, the successful candidate will possess the following:

* 3-5+ years of experience in fund accounting

* Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field

* Articulate, concise, and effective communicator

* Knowledge of incentive/performance fee partner allocation calculations

* Understanding of private fund operations, master and feeder Structures, and fund offering documents

* Knowledge of US GAAP with an emphasis on private funds and partnerships

* Knowledge of tax-related topics with partnerships

* Strong analytical skills towards the Funds' NAV review process and the capital operations
