Click here to read about our principles, and click here to read our CEO's blog on trust and our corporate culture.Purpose of the JobAs an experienced internal resourcing specialist, with drive, passion and a can do attitude you will help to manage our internal recruitment and onboarding activities during an exciting and rapid growth phase.Delivering a professional, efficient, and robust recruitment process in line with current procedures, you will contribute to the timely hiring of exceptional talent to drive Oxitec's growth agenda. Responsible for sourcing candidates through direct recruitment and multiple sourcing channels, you will deliver across the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle. Partnering with, and coaching hiring managers, you will have a hands-on approach and deliver a comprehensive service that is highly responsive.Responsibilities• Manage the full recruitment cycle, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience;• Source qualified, talented, and high potential candidates who embody Oxitec's values & principles, and high-pace, entrepreneurial spirit;• Create, and publish job descriptions/adverts across social media channels and job boards;• Ensure internal recruitment process compliance, and that all activities are conducted fairly;• Build effective Hiring Manager relationships, understanding hiring needs in relation to team goals, collaborating with the business to enhance the overall recruitment processes;• Conduct reference checks and other background checks as required;• Work closely across Oxitec to build efficient and scalable recruiting processes;• Promote Oxitec as being an employer of choice;• Research other sources of talent pipelines and begin building relationships with organisations / educational establishments to further promote Oxitec in the relevant fields;• Occasionally attend recruitment fairs /networking events to attract candidates.Skills, Experience & Qualifications• Demonstrable track record as a 360 direct in-house recruiter essential;• Experience of effectively managing multiple searches and assignments in high volume, and in different fields and geographies simultaneously;• Self-starter who can work well autonomously and excels at quickly establishes relationships;• Excellent at all aspects of recruitment administration, and candidate liaison, with proven organisational skills, and a very strong eye for detail;• Excellent knowledge of sourcing and recruitment techniques including social media;• A super connector who lives on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and other social media outlets with excellent knowledge of sourcing and recruitment techniques;• Previous exposure of working and interacting with Senior Leadership Teams;• Fluency in written and spoken English is a must;• Results-driven and action-oriented individual who is business savvy and entrepreneurial;• Experience of working in tech / life sciences start up is desirable.Behavioural Requirements• Commitment to and passion for the Oxitec mission;• Positive, co-operative, and professional always;• Responsive to the needs of an international business working across different time zones, adapting working patterns in-line with business requirements;• Must be able to operate in a flexible and adaptable manner, especially when accepting new ideas and dealing with ambiguity; using feedback and change management concepts to redirect focus at a moment's notice;• Strong time management and effective resource planning skills are a must, and is being able to adapt to a fast-paced environment;• Display a demonstrated commitment to focusing on business needs and setting high standards to ensure quality work is maintained.
