Job Description JOB LOCATION: JERSEY CITY, NJ (In Office Job) We
are a third generation, family-owned, specialty food distributor
that has been in the food service industry for over 65 years,
seeking an enthusiastic, motivated candidate who is interested in
the food industry to join our team This individual will be
responsible for taking customer phone and email orders, handling
any customer concerns and delivery issues, and performing order
entry and inside sales support duties, while learning about the
food business as you grow within the position. Additional
Responsibilities: Provide information about our products and
services Troubleshoot and resolve product issues, make suggestions
for substitutions, and up-sell menu items Update customer records
based on interactions Be aware of our constantly evolving products
and services Taste test product Qualifications: Previous food
service office experience in customer service, inside sales support
and/or data entry helpful Accurate data entry skills Ability to
build rapport and develop relationships with our customers Ability
to prioritize and multitask Positive and professional demeanor
Excellent written and verbal communication skills Solid math and
computer skills Able to maintain regular and reliable attendance
Effective under pressure with constant positive attitude Education:
High school diploma required, college degree preferred
Compensation: Excellent competitive pay commensurate with
