Introduction to Role

The WKO team supports all aspects of client Onboarding to include the fulfilment of Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Client (KYC) requirements. They partner with the front office teams to ensure all client KYC records are compliant with regulatory standards, and will ensure high quality and timely completion of all client-level due diligence requirements at the onset of the client relationship. The WKO Team will validate client information, conduct Enhance and Specialized Due Diligence as well as request supporting evidence for OFAC/Sanctions screening, negative media cases and will confirm the AML risk rating and required due diligence at a client level prior to record submission for Quality Control review. They are expected to stay current with all regulatory changes and requirements around client KYC, Suitability and Documentation, as well as any product or account opening procedural and due diligence requirements. The team is focused on completing KYC on new client relationships, onboarding incremental business to existing relationships, and ensuring renewals and remediation projects are completed in accordance with JPMorgan's due diligence policies, standards and established timelines.

Key Deliverables

* Manage client and partner relationships & expectations proactively and in a consultative manner
* Manage renewals, new business, unplanned due diligence requirements, engaging the needed business partners to support the process
* Drive a strong alignment between Middle Office and New Business teams to enable a single client touch point for new onboardings and KYC.
* Assist with ad-hoc requests regarding KYC from Bankers, product and international partners, timely and ensuring a quality client experience KYC;
* Own the KYC/AML experience with clients, partners, and peers
* Ensure KYC/AML deliverables such as target and due dates are achieved through coordination and collaboration with internal partners and clients
* Maintain ongoing partner engagement of assigned portfolio and projects - own the process and be accountable for the results
* Demonstrate ongoing understanding of KYC/AML processes, procedures and supporting technical platforms to work through delays and inefficiencies
* Primary and trusted partner on KYC Policy and Procedures and industry specific complexities
* Manage operational risk effectively through diligent awareness of risks in our processes and potential risks that stem from partner participation in the process
* Escalate appropriate risk items and drive issues to timely closure across matrixed organizational lines
* Accountable for timely portfolio management while maintaining quality expectations
* Proactively support team goals by absorbing additional responsibilities and proactively seeking opportunities to contribute to the team's success
* Contribute with internal WKO policy and procedures improvements exercises (including those leading to technology investments where feasible) with minimal client & partner interruption.
