You'll be responsible for creating, managing and contributing to internal communications strategies, campaigns and calendars. You'll help manage and improve the efficiency and efficacy of the company's internal communications channels such as the intranet, Yammer, email. You'll also work on integrated communications and marketing campaigns and be a driving force behind the company's employee advocacy program. You love looking for what's interesting about a topic and telling stories in whichever medium best reaches your target audience/s. You'll also have experience working with a variety of stakeholders across an organization and working on the latest communications channels.
Responsibilities

  • Bring Verisk's brand, purpose, and priorities to life through stories about Verisk teammates, stories that engage and inspire
  • Research, write, edit, and distribute high-quality, accurate communications
  • Experiment with creative ways to reach colleagues with the news and information they care about and will help them do their jobs
  • Partner and plan with HR, global protection and security, as well as communicators and marketers
  • Develop communications plans with a long arch, that tie together multiple touchpoints in support of broader strategies and goals
  • Serve as a trusted partner and strategic advisor for internal stakeholders
  • Use data to measure the impact and ROI of communications and set strategies for the future
    Qualifications
    • 4+ years of experience in communications, journalism, or social media
    • Excellent written and oral communications skills
    • Portfolio of work demonstrating the ability to tell complex stories in relatable terms
    • Multimedia experience
    • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or a related field
    • Fantastic judgment and tact
    • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
