ThThe RoleDo you want to make a difference in our internal associates lives and be part of a highly collaborative, multi-functional team of expert UX designers and engineers building the next generation of desktop functionality and workflow processing applications for the Fidelity Institutional (FI) business unit?We are looking for a Senior User Experience designer to join our UX design team that will play a key role in concepting and crafting cohesive and intuitive user experience for our modernized brokerage platform that will be used by internal and external users. As a senior member of the team, you will be partnering with user researcher, subject matter experts, users and developers to craft outstanding user experiences for our modern web applications.
Expertise and skills you bring

  • Bachelor s degree in Information Sciences, Human-Centered Design, or other relevant degree with 7+ years of UXD experience
  • A digital portfolio showcasing your recent work
  • Experience designing for financial, or enterprise applications required
  • Expertise in delivering end-to-end user experience designs focusing on entire user journeys and interactions
  • Partner closely with business and technology teams to find elegant but practical solutions to design challenges
  • Expertise in common design and prototyping tools such as Figma (preferred) and/or Balsamiq
  • Experience in using research to support evidence-focused design decisions
  • Effective communication as a writer, presenter, and facilitator; equally at ease speaking with product owners, senior leaders and executives
  • A foundation of development knowledge, both web and mobile
  • Produce human-focused design approaches that focuses on user needs, business objectives, and technical capabilities
  • Work as an individual contributor as well as collaborate with a team of designers in agile sprint cycles
    The TeamWe at Fidelity's Core Brokerage Technology group design, develop, implement, and support applications for our industry leading brokerage platforms. The Nextgen brokerage UI centric teams are working on bringing rich workflow processing tools that can provide efficient, meaningful user experiences to our associates to better serve our Fidelity Institutional clients. You will be joining a team of highly motivated and passionate engineers and designers to help deliver a world class experience for our next gen brokerage platform.

    The base salary range for this position is $85,000-$179,000 per year. \u00A0Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate s relevant experience, and other factors.
    Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation. \u00A0\u00A0
