Job Description:
The Fortitude Re People and Culture team is looking for a dynamic,
strategic, results driven Human Resources professional to join an
innovative, fast-paced, and dynamic team. This role reports to the
SVP, People and Culture Officer and ideally will be based in our
Nashville, TN or Jersey City, NJ office on a hybrid schedule.As the
People and Culture Partner, you will play a pivotal role in
partnering with our talented leaders to drive our people strategy
forward. The Sr. People and Culture role is both strategic and
hands-on serving as consultative partner to senior leaders and
their respective management teams. on all people related matters,
providing full cycle Human Resources support with the goal of
aligning best HR practices to business strategies.
You will have the opportunity to shape and execute HR initiatives
that align with our overall business goals, fostering an
environment where our employees can thrive and exceed
expectations.
What You Will Do:
Be a trusted advisor and partner to senior leaders, providing
strategic guidance on people-related matters, including
organizational design, compensation planning, employee retention,
employee relations, management coaching, performance management and
change management.
Develop and implement HR strategies that align with our
organizational objectives, enhancing employee engagement,
retention, and overall performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement
talent management initiatives, including talent acquisition,
performance management, learning and development, diversity,
equity, inclusion and belonging and succession planning.
Drive the implementation of effective change management strategies,
ensuring seamless transitions and a positive employee
experience.
Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends, develop insights,
and recommend proactive solutions to optimize organizational
effectiveness.
Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, bringing fresh
ideas and innovative approaches to the table.
Coach and mentor HR team members, fostering their growth and
development.
Provide guidance to management team for coaching, counseling,
career development, and disciplinary actions.
Act as point-of-contact for guidance on compensation actions,
including promotions, and related actions. Identify business case
for position or job group compensation changes, and incentive
compensation changes.
Act as resource to employees when needed providing guidance on and
interpreting company policy as well as assuring that employee
perspectives are heard and considered.
Collaborate with the Managers and fellow team members in promoting,
sustaining, and strengthening the Fortitude Re culture.
What You Will Have:
6+ years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on strategic HR
business partnering.
Proven track record of successfully leading and executing strategic
HR initiatives.
Strong business acumen and the ability to understand complex
organizational dynamics.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the
ability to influence and build strong relationships at all levels
of the organization.
Demonstrated experience in change management, organizational
development, and talent management.
Ability to think strategically while also being hands-on and detail
oriented.
