between $73,000.00and $115,000.00. The specific salary offered to
an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications,
experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in
their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of
hire. The role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary
incentive award. In addition to cash compensation, SMBC offers a

DescriptionComplete daily payments processing activities,
processing inbound and outbound payments for all product areas
supported. Ensure payment transactions are fully captured and all
payment-related information is processed adhering to established
service level agreement and industry guidelines and applicable
regulatory and policy standards.Role Objectives: DeliveryComplete
daily payments processing activities, processing inbound and
outbound payments for all product areas supported; debit card
processing and reporting, physical cash / valuables, check
clearing, real time payment (RTP) and / or batch processing,
settlements and chargebacks. Ensure payment transactions are fully
captured and all payment-related information is processed adhering
to established service level agreement (SLA) and industry
guidelines. Prepare payment-related MIS and regulatory reporting.
Support daily reconciliation between source systems and bank
statements to ensure that all payments are matched. Adhere to
incident management / fraud prevention policy and protocols for
escalating suspicious or exceptional transactions to appropriate
parties. Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and policy
standards, and that all assigned work is completed to meet
individual and departmental goals.Role Objectives:
InterpersonalInteract with customers and service providers in order
to respond to requests and inquiries. Receive and complete customer
instructions and confirmations according to established policy and
service standards. Liaise with internal and external partners and
stakeholders on matters relating to payment processing; partner
with customer service teams to optimize customer experience and
collaborate with reconciliations and governance operations teams as
necessary for risk and fraud control items.Role Objectives:
ExpertiseDemonstrate operational knowledge of payments and
remittance processing, including knowledge of various industry
payment platforms, systems and practices. Demonstrate good
knowledge and understanding of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and
regulatory requirements impacting domestic and international
payments (e.g., BACS, ACH, SWIFT) and remittance transaction
processing.Qualifications and SkillsRecommended years of
