This is an excellent opportunity to join our Sea Logistics team.Your RoleThe Senior Logistics Procurement Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of strategic sourcing plans for logistics services that include sea, air and road transportation, warehousing, customs clearance and other related logistics services. Primary emphasis will be on developing a best value supply chain that delivers life-saving commodities, materials and supplies to people in need in over 50 countries. This person will provide thought leadership from a procurement perspective, collaborate with internal/external business partners to develop new and creative sourcing strategies, manage and coordinate supplier selection with the source selection committee(s) and manage LSP providers against agreed upon service levels. The position will be a working manager providing technical and procurement expertise, creative problem solving, and project management along with strategic procurement support globally. This role reports into the Business Manager.Your Responsibilities

  • Perform spend analysis, prepares financial models, identifies opportunities for efficiency gains and cost savings, and presents procurement strategy recommendations to internal business partners.
  • Gather technical business requirements from internal business partners and execute RFx / spot rate procurement events.
  • Prepare and analyze results.Model award recommendations for finalization with the Source Selection Committee including managing down selection.
  • Prepares awards and related spend and regulatory governance programs in line with purchasing policies.
  • Manage on-boarding of LSP's including EDI integration, preparation of Scope of Work, agreement on service levels.
  • Agreements (SLA's), technical input regarding contracting.
  • Develop baselines and track/report savings value against same for each executed strategy / RFP..
  • Develop, engage and lead supplier relationships including managing performance against service level agreements and promote continuous improvement and innovation. Process includes developing scorecards, conducting quarterly business reviews, managing corrective action plans and recognizing outstanding performance.
  • Ongoing contract and rate management with interface to freight payment and audit provider.
  • Be recognized as global subject matter expert by business partners, and valued member of the team. Create value as a trusted business partner and demonstrate leadership capabilities..
  • Manage FBP&A process and team incl. provider management (BBA), ensure payment terms are met..
  • 3PL management (MBR/QBR and NCR) incl.reporting and corrective action.Your Skills and Experiences
    • Must have a University degree (BA, BS) in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business-related field.
    • Advanced University degree in Business Administration (MS/MBA) preferred.
    • Minimum 10 years' experience managing key supply chain processes, including but not limited to:.
    • Proven history of developing and managing diverse, high-potential teams.
    • Strong resource management acumen.
    • Strong negotiator.
    • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills to be effective in a highly matrixed environment.
    • Must be highly organized self-starter and extremely proficient in use of PC/MS office suite including advanced XLS skills.
    • Understanding of Supply Chain Management roles and responsibilities.
    • Ability to link and articulate process change to multiple levels within the organization as well as customer groups.
    • Able to meet objectives with minimal direction from supervision and make sound business decisions.
    • Strong working knowledge in project management with demonstrable project/customer focused accomplishments.
    • Excellent communication and facilitation skills one on one and in groups.
    • Ability to analyze and effectively communicate technical and business impacts.
