a Visual Intelligence Analyst at Verisk 3D Visual Intelligence
Energy, you will design, and support the development team to
implement novel solutions for the energy sector based on satellite
and aerial signals.You will work closely with a cross-functional
team of developers, QA analysts, project managers and designers to
build and iterate on these solutions. Your ability to innovate,
work in cloud environments and learn quickly will be instrumental
to your successQualificationsWe are currently seeking a Visual
Intelligence Analyst with +5 years of experience with experience in
geographical information services and signal analysis.Tasks Will
Encompass The Following DomainsThe position requires strong
analytic skills. Candidates must have at least a bachelor's degree
in mathematical/physical/environmental/computer since with a strong
emphasis in the creation of geospatial and remote sensing
solutions. A successful applicant will have demonstrated the
ability to develop algorithms to extract meaningful information
from signals, satellite and aerial imagery and to rapidly learn new
technologies. Strong technical and communication skills, teamwork,
and problem solving in a fast-paced R&D environment are
required.
- Strong analytical skills and capabilities to design and
implement remote sensing solution.
- Proficiency in geospatial systems both ArcGIS and open-source
systems, including programming and application development (both
raster and vector)
- Demonstrated experience in development of scientific,
geospatial, remote sensing solutions including analysis of
satellite signals (SAR, panchromatic, multispectral, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability and enthusiasm for rapidly learning and
applying new technologies to complex problems.
- Demonstrated user-level experience with a version control
technology such as Git, Subversion, etc.
- We envision successful candidates would have experience or
strong interest in one or more of the following categories:
- Data Science techniques like data analysis and visualization to
test and proof proposed solutions.
- Notions of Machine Learning using technologies like PyTorch,
TensorFlow, MXNet, etc.
- Notions Cloud Computing development and deployment using
AWS.
- Scientific Computing libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, and
