Responsibilities includes but not limited to:

• Directly supervises, provides support to and communicates with all staff hospital-wide
• Make frequent rounds throughout facility to monitor the delivery of care, oversee the quality of services and direct patient care activities as needed
• Ensure efficient operations and patient flow throughout the hospital
• Ensure all temporary agency personnel are deployed and oriented in compliance with hospital policy
• Demonstrates leadership effectiveness in managing interpersonal relationships and managing self.
  Provides leadership and direction in accordance with organizational and departmental goals and objectives.
• Assist medical staff with scheduling after hour procedures and initiating on-call staff members
• Enhance the patient/family experience through supportive interactions and explanations of hospital policies as needed
• Perform any and all other duties assignedWhat We're Looking For and What We Offer:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required, Master's degree preferred
  • Current valid New Jersey State RN license
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of acute care nursing clinical experience and a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in an acute care facility
  • Current AHA BLS and ACLS
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with proven track record of building and coaching successful teams Per Diem Varied flex shifts as needed rotating weekends and holidays * An Equal Opportunity Employer*
