Your future team AIG's Corporate Real Estate & Business Services Group (CRBS) is responsible for managing the full life cycle (lease transactions, workplace planning, design/construction and facilities management/operations) for the workplaces that AIG employees occupy across all line of businesses worldwide. The Business Services team sits within the CRBS organization and is responsible for the day to day internal operations of AIG's on-site office support services. Some of these services include food services, conference services, mailroom, document storage and retention, fleet cars, etc. Core responsibilities of the Operations Analyst will include: Creation of PowerPoint presentations and Excel models that tell a story around each of our business lines. Act as a business case specialist for the team to help us solve day to day challenges as well as help us envision the next generation of our business model and offerings. Use graphics, charts and other design elements to compose effective and creative business cases that help drive the decision making process Collaborate with management team to establish annual, quarterly, and monthly strategic priorities and reports and facilitate advancement of them. Track and ensure timely completion of projects and initiatives within the team Prepare communications that are sent to our internal stakeholders and clients that support outreach campaigns to promote our services internally. Drafts letters, emails and other correspondence for the team managers Assist on developing our team's environmental strategy across all of our service lines to help us get towards our carbon neutral goals Work with our data strategy team to create a central repository of all our data and mine the data to help us gain insight into how our services are being used and how they can be improved Work with global counterparts to better understand how we perform our services across the global to drive consistency Benchmark our Workplace Services against that of other firms to ensure we are offering best in class services Maintain annual recertification of team's BCP plans and support annual recertification of other team policies Prepare ad-hoc reports as needed for management to support meetings and/or internal reviews What we are looking for: Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of professional experience in an operations type role with office administration experience Bachelor's degree in business administration or similar field Experience in Workplace Experience, Office Administration, or Hospitality services. Self-starter with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously Highly organized with the ability to work independently Excellent reporting, verbal, analytical, organizational and written skills Comfortable dealing with complex problems and proposing solutions Excellent interpersonal skills and able to collaborate with people at all levels Ability to perform work with a high-level of attention to detail and accuracy Flexible and accepting of working in dynamic changing organizations Strong computer software proficiency: Advanced Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Adobe skills Experience working with a team in a fast-paced setting Able to come to the office 2-3 times a week in Jersey City and/or NYC A look at our benefits At AIG, we have a 100-year legacy of working to make the world a better place.
