Job SummaryThe Central Project Management Office ? Quality
Assurance group (CPMO QA) leverages extensive experience in
software quality assurance processes, procedures, and methods to
assure successful construction and delivery of IT systems. The main
objective of CPMO QA is to provide independent evaluation, control,
and associated recommendations for significant projects and
programs being implemented by the bank. CPMO QA is focused on
continuous process improvement by identifying tasks or activities
that deviated from the guidelines, investigating the root cause(s)
that triggered the deviation, and suggesting corrective and
preventive remedies. The CPMO QA Analyst brings 2 to 3 years of
business, technology or operational experience to the role. The
Analyst will be naturally inquisitive, analytical in nature and
will possess a strong desire to learn.ResponsibilitiesPartner and
assist team members in identifying and extracting data for quality
assessments and improvement initiatives.Assist with process
consistency audits and track corrective and preventive
measures.Track project progress within the CPMO portfolio tracking
tool.Create, update and maintain CPMO QA guidelines and
templates.Review project artifacts (BRD, FDD) built by the project
teams per CPMO QA provided templates and offer feedback.Evaluate
tasks performed in SIT and UAT phases of the project and provide
standard methodologies based on recommendations.Support the
improvement of CPMO QA methodology by identifying quantitative
measurement and analysis techniques.Qualifications:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to interact
with all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including V-Lookups, PivotTables
and knowledge of advanced formulas.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.
- Ability to work in multi-team environment with people from
diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Dedicated; ability to anticipate problems and take appropriate
steps to apply lessons learned in ways that help others prevent
- Ability to frame strong recommendations clearly.
- Focus on quality.
- Strong time management skills.
- Knowledge of software development processes and overall life
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Confirmed ability to consistently achieve or exceed
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and perform multiple
tasks under minimal supervision
- Four year baccalaureate degree
- Experience within the financial industry in an analytical or
related role is a plus.
