As the Sales Director, you will be responsible for leading sales efforts for the North America Region! You will help build and improve teams driving sales of Company's leading voice trading platforms which will require knowledge, experience and expertise in navigating, negotiating and closing deals with a wide range of sales cycles and deal sizes. As a validated second-line leader you know how to hire, manage and coach your management team and provide mentorship and direction needed to hit our ambitious targets and build a balanced and repeatable process of promotion success within our teams!

Execute sales strategy across financial services clients in NA
Lead a growing organization of Account Executives, to help drive complex deal transactions.
Set and execute an aggressive customer retention and acquisition strategy
Maintain key customer relationships and develop and implement strategies for expansion
Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
Lead overall sales process, set appropriate metrics for sales funnel management
Collaborate with marketing, SDR's, pre-sales, sales ops, professional services, and customer success teams to align go-to market message and execution
Plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels
You will directly manage 6-8 account executives and hold a sales quota for your region
This is a highly collaborative role as you will be working with team leaders across a variety of functions including Sales Engineering, SalesOps, Enablement, Marketing, Business Development and Customer Success teams to align go-to market message and execution
Responsible for hiring and training new team members in the sales process.
Report on sales activity and forecast to senior sales management.
Support VP, Sales by achieving or exceeding sales targets in the region.
Negotiate profitable contracts, terms, and conditions.
Develop unified messaging with the lead generation team
Increase pipeline through demand generation and targeted campaigns
Manage/overcome prospect objections.
Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of our product lines.
Create new revenue opportunities with focus on driving business to close in new and existing accounts.
Train the sales team on managing complex sales cycles.
Assist with sale and closure of regional accounts.
Perform other duties or special projects as needed.

Job Requirements:

10+ years in telecom/software/network
5+ years of sales leadership experience within software/SaaS organizations (subscription sales)
Experience selling cloud-based applications (strongly preferred)
2nd or 3rd line leadership experience
Experience leading teams selling to mid-sized accounts & closing deals from Experience navigating legal, security, and procurement organizations
Proven relationships with key customers and partners in the financial services segment
Strong operational and analytical abilities
Excellent presentation and listening skills
Ability to hire and train new Sales Leadership
Ability to provide accurate forecasting and pipeline development and management
Must be analytical and metrics driven through all stages of the sales cycle
Ability and willingness to travel
BA/BS degree preferred
