The Sales Specialist for Leica Biosystems is responsible for
selling histology consumables in the NYC, Northern New Jersey
territory. The Sales Specialist will achieve annual product sales
goals set for the territory while working in coordination with the
local assigned team within their territory
This position is part of the Histology Consumables sales team and
will be remotely base in the field in the Northern New Jersey area.

You will be a part of the Northeast Sales team and report to the
Sales Manager responsible for sales growth in this region. If you

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
* Maintain accurate and timely opportunity funnel and customer data
in Salesforce.com with coaching as needed
* Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through delivery of
sales and support assistance and coordinate product demo, installs,
and customer training with support from manager and/or mentor
* Work with prospective and current customers to increase Leica
Biosystems' influence and presence across territories
* Monitor and develop awareness of competitive activities and
* Utilize Strategic Selling tools (Blue Sheets) with mentorship and
* Develop on products, DBS, LBS Tools (such as DOMO, Showpad,
Territory Business Reviews)
The essential requirements of the job include:
* Minimum 3-5 years relevant sales (or equivalent experience)
* Proven time management skills
* Proven contract negotiation and high-level selling experience, or
selling in a matrixed environment
* Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM software
* Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel,
PowerPoint and Outlook
* Travel 50-75%
