Job Description:

Adecco Creative & Marketing is assisting local client in their search for a top notch Marketing Generalist! This is a one-year contract position for the right candidate.

The marketing generalists' primary responsibility will be to create marketing leverage across the marketing and sales networks (i.e., Sectors, LOS, Geographies, Sales, Brand, Thought Leadership, etc.). The Marketing Generalist works with supervision by more senior generalists to execute on marketing projects and programs.

Top Responsibilities for the Marketing Generalist include but are not limited to:

-Technical knowledge of 3 discrete marketing processes and is deployed on those projects where their marketing specialization is required.

-This position will be expected to adapt to different tasks, as needed, across the marketing organization in support of dedicated marketing and sales networks.

Requirements for the Marketing Generalist include:

-At least 3+ years of marketing experience in a myriad of marketing functions required.

-Specialization in a minimum of 1 marketing function (i.e., advertising, public relations, event planning, market research, customer loyalty, etc.)

-Technical knowledge of 5 of the following discrete marketing processes: event planning/logistics, video production, website architecture/design, podcast/MP3 production, excellent writing standards, mass mailing/emailing, database marketing, producing literature (graphic layout, writing, editing, proofreading, print production, in-house production, electronic distribution, etc.), specialty advertising items, signage, issuing press releases, developing media and advertising plans, sourcing editorial calendars, focus group logistics, quantitative/qualitative survey development, compiling research results, writing research specifications, application of brand expression, and management of publications.

-Superior project management skills required

-An undergraduate degree in marketing or like field (i.e., communications, public relations, advertising, etc.) desired.
